How Web 2.0 Are You?

validator.jpgWeb 2.0 this, Web 2.0 that. But what's Web 2.0 really? Web 2.0 Validator lets you enter a URL to find out whether it's truly a Web 2.0 site.

The community makes the decisions on what criteria should be included by adding comments to the "notes" section after they bookmark Validator on del.icio.us. "Writing a rule is pretty simple, just state the name of the rule and what you want it to check."

ex) Appears to use AJAX : /prototype.js/

This looks for usage of prototype.js in your website which is a common file used by web 2.0-ers. We want to make this easy but if you don't understand how this works, you have no business controlling the fate of the internet.

Wonderfully deadpan, ironic site that! Guess some people will worriedly take it seriously, though, and mess around like lemmings putting all sorts of junk in place in order to be seen to conform.
