Haven't Disappeared; Am Recovering

At the beginning of the week I had emergency surgery for a detached retina. I am recovering and expect to be able to be back next week. But in the meantime -- no computer, no reading, no email, so I am watching I Love Lucy and The Honeymooners reruns until Monday.

If you haven't seen your eye doctor recently, please go get your eyes checked!

I'm so sorry to hear about the eye problem - know about detached retinas as I had Lasik and was often at my eye doctor's office with complications - this was 6 or 7 years ago - but I learned more than I wanted to know about eye diseses.

Thankfully, it's repairable and it was an emergency - heal well and feel well too.

Thanks very much for all the good wishes and all the phone calls and cards I got. I'm back to it, but slowly, and hoping for a good outcome. So far, so good.
