I'm Hosting an NYC Stormhoek Dinner for Non-Drinkers

stormhoek_no_drink.bmpHere's why I love blogging. How else would I ever have gotten into to this?

When I was in London last month I had dinner with Hugh Macleod and then drinks with Hugh and Jason Korman, president of Stormhoek Wines.

Jason asked if I'd like to host one of the Stormhoek 100 Geek Dinners in 100 Nights, and I said "I don't drink." He said, "hey, host it anyway." And so, amigos and amigas, I will do just that.

We don't have a date yet. But we promise you'll have the chance to taste the wine if you do drink, or to play silly games with the bottle if you don't. Or to talk about one of the most amazing online marketing campaigns ever. Suggestions for venues are welcome.

Sorry, I have to ask: will Mel Gibson or his publicist attend? And what could Mel do right now with a blog? I think you and Levick should collaborate and advise. Heh.

I doubt it. I'm Jewish. :>)
he doesn't need a blog. he needs a brain, and a rehab.

I've already suggested to Jason that he create Stormhoek Zen which will be an empty bottle to sit on the table at a dinner for non-drinkers.

Hey, why not link up with UPA NYC for one of their events....
