Agency.com has posted a series of videos on YouTube to pitch Subway Sandwiches, the world's largest sandwich chain. The agency filmed its pitch process to demonstrate its creative teams approach. Props. That's very clever!
Too bad they look like such an old-line agency in the videos.
hat tip to saphron jenkins (is that a cool name or what)
Just took a look at the video and thought it was a brilliant idea. I think that if the goal was to create a video that gave a sense of the internal workings of the agency, I think it worked. It didn't give me any sense of how their actions translated into sellable ideas for Subway, but maybe that wasn't the point.
I personally enjoyed it because I thought it was a great representation of going for broke when the stakes are high. They didn't let the fact that they only had three days stop them from getting a job at Subway, etc.
I'm sure the question on everyone's mind is...so did they win?
