Jon Stewart: Enemy of Democracy? Not!

jon_stewart.jpgFile this under "money spent on yet another study of the obvious".

Richard Morin, Washington Post "Unconventional Wisdom"columnist, notes that "Two political scientists found that young people who watch [Jon] Stewart's faux news program, "The Daily Show," develop cynical views about politics and politicians that could lead them to just say no to voting."

Voting in the last three Presidential elections makes me feel that way too.

The most interesting news from the study: 48% of college kids watch Stewart and don't watch network news.
