Hugh Macleod Offers Cartoon Widget - Gratis, for now

hugh_widget.jpgThe ever-brilliant Hugh Macleod at Gaping Void is offering a widget that anyone can add to their blog or website to suck up Hugh's cartoons into their site. It's gratis, for now. He says he may ask contributions later to cover bandwidth costs.

I am such a technical clunkhead that, even though Hugh gives you the code, I need to have a geek add the widget to my template. Sigh. I just don't have that gene. But hey, I'm a pretty decent swing dancer. How many of you can say that?

The widget is an extraordinary marketing tool for Hugh's global microbrand, and a much-needed way to cheer up some blahgs

As I've noted, widgets are "the wave of the future for product and service marketing. No blinking banners, no annoying pop-ups, no BS, just useful information, packaged in a way that makes it helpful, interesting, and, hopefully, fun".

I've always loved this guy's cartoons, so I will be sure to check out his offer - thanks! BTW, read some links to you from Adrants today ... I take it you are not a fan of the PR Strumpette? :)
