Google Desktop Beta Crashed My Computer

I had to uninstall the new Google Desktop Beta because it kept causing my computer to freeze and to refuse to shut down or start smoothly.

Apparently, too much more for my computer. I'll wait for 2.0.

Me too. I actually tried re-installing it, thinking that might be the problem, but no go. Usually their Betas work better than this!

I wanted to install Google Desktop, but resisted the temptation. I finally decided it was not necessary to reduce my entire life to a toolbar.
