White House Spokesman Scott McClellan Going to Work for His Mom's Campaign for Texas Gov?

By B.L. Ochman No doubt tired of cleaning up after the elephants, White House spokesperson Scott McClellan has resigned. I bet there is no more relieved flak anywhere at this moment than McClellan, who has had the worst PR job in America.

McClellan may be leaving to work for his mother, Texas Comptroller Carole Keeton Strayhorn, who announced on Monday she will run for governor as an independent against incumbent Republican Rick Perry, according to The Raw Story.

Strayhorn has described Perry as:

"a weak leadin', ethics ignorin', pointin' the finger at everyone blamin', special session callin', public school slashin', slush fund spendin', toll road buildin', special interest panderin', rainy day fund raidin', fee increasin', no property tax cuttin', promise breakin', do nothin' phony conservative."

The White House also announced that the president's chief political adviser, Karl Rove, the puppet master, will be shedding his duties as a policy adviser in the White House. Yeah, right.
