State of the Blogosphere: Stronger Than Ever

Technorati head David Sifry, updating his State of the Blogosphere Report.

Interesting points:
- 2.7 million bloggers post at least once a week
- there are 50,000 blog posts an hour
- More bloggers stick with their blogs than before
- Technorati now tracks over 27.2 Million blogs
- The blogosphere is doubling in size every 5 and a half months

Splogs (machine-generated spam blogs) and spings (sp*m pings) ae excluded. Only human-created blogs are discussed

Sifry notes that "There was still a major problem, however - how to easily find the most interesting blogs on the subjects that you cared about. " That's putting it mildly!
