What the Internet Can't Do For Small Business

Holiday shopping online saves hassles, gas, tempers, time, and, often, money.

But the Internet can't put your kid or your puppy in Santa's lap like a local store can. That's my puppy, Benny Bix, with Santa tonight -- moments before I spent about $35 on toys and treats for him at our sweet little neighborhood pet store called Posh Paws Tall and Small. Sure, they do the same thing at Petco, but they know my name and Benny's at Posh Paws. Nothing beats that.
