A Really Lame Fake Blog from HP

hptv.jpgHP is in week two of a six-week HPTV giveaway contest that uses a really lame fake blog. One element that sounds like it would be fun -- if it worked, which it didn't -- is the Persuader. The blog says that relationship guru Dr Troy Meddlesom will compose a pitch to a girlfriend or wife, to persuade them to let you get a huge plasma TV.

I agree with you for once, BL. Lame execution by HP. They would have been better served if they didn't try to hide the fact the only reason for coming to the site was to enter the contest.

The copy writing is cheap and thin.

Fake? It’s a satire. Of course it’s fake. I mean, do you think that there’s really a man in a chicken suit taking orders at Burger King? It’s not a National Geographic piece, dude. BTW, the Persuader is hilarious.
