What's Next Blog Comment Policy

Shel Israel has announced his Living Room Comment Policy for the Naked Conversations blog and this seems like a good time to explain the What's Next Blog comment policy, which has not changed.

All comments are moderated. If you are rude or abusive your comments will not be published. If you continue to send such comments, you will be permanently banned. I will absolutely make this judgment subjectively.

Debates are often interesting, and I am open to constructive criticism. Calling me, people I write about, or those who comment on this blog rude names is unacceptable. If you'd get punched in the nose in a bar for what you are saying, your comment won't see the light of day here.

No anonymous comments will be published here under any circumstances. Period.

Dear B.L.
I've been reading you for quite a long time and like your blog, but some times I feel uncomfortable with the way you take some decisions.

I've been attacked in my blog and never banned nobody. I only edit bad words and not for me, but for my readers.

Best regards,

I like reading your blog, and respect any policy you want to set for comments.

That's one reason we both have our own blogs.

Fair enough!

Your decision is too cursory!

LifeOK: You are free to have a 500-word comment policy on your blog. Or thousands. Whatever rings your chimes. Me, I try to say everything in as few words as possible.
