Japanese Bloggers Report Freaky Fruit Sold in Japan
Tokyo Times blog reports that Japanese farmers are selling the year’s first square melons. Approximately 800 of these 'ideal for the freezer' fruit were shipped to Tokyo, Osaka, and China. They're priced at 10,000 yen ($91 US) each. A marketing campaign for this and other freaky fruit is sure to follow.
