Blogebrity Is a Hoax and Time Magazine is Fooled

Is Blogebrity a hoax, we asked on May 23, long before others chimed in. Now it turns out that Blogebrity is part of a viral marketing contest called Contagious Media Showdown run by Eyebeam to see who get get the most Technorati links the fastest. Even Time Magazine's Blogwatch column ran a piece about the new magazine that may or may not ever be published.

BL,

Atually you're assuming we're a hoax from what you've read online. I'd check out Jessica Coen or Media Post for a more appropriate perspective...Now who's really been fooled?
Time Magazine or You?

I not only read Media Post, I linked to it in this post. What? You didn't read the whole post?
