Meet My Sexy New Keyboard

Please excuse my typing. This is my sexy new ergonomic keyboard that i just got today. I5t's a Kinesis Advantage and using it is a little like learningto type all over again.

I got it becauxe my hands are getting sore and sometimes tingly, the telltale signs of enchroaching carpal tunnel. I also have something called chicken plucker's thumb, although i am a vegetarian and try not to eat anything with parents.

I, for three years, was so crippled by co,puters that I sometimes had ti tie strings to drawer pulls and open them with my teeth while my hands healed.

i've since changed my workstation, lowering my keyboard to my map and using a headset when typing and talking.I'll let you know how long it takes til i am back to 90 words a minute. i'm down to about 10 right now.

BL, you have got to be kidding me. You really own this keyboard?

I had the same difficulty adjusting when I reviewed the Advantage. Once you're used to it, however, the experience is quite impressive.

Did you buy the foot petal as well?

Thanks so much for telling me about the Foot Pedal. their website is so incredibly poorly organized that i didn't realize they had them, and i've been a kinesis customer for years!

i ordered one and hope i can changes decades of using a trackpad! i had read your review before - and it was really helpful.

i've had my Advantage keyboard for 4 years and it's still going strong. amazing when you consider that i write approx 10,000 words a week with it!!!!
