Diller to Buy AskJeeves for 1.85 BILLION in Stock Trade
Media Mogul Barry Diller's Interactive Corp has agreed to buy Ask Jeeves for 1.85 BILLION in a stock trade.

In a statement Diller said "we believe that in the future [Ask Jeeves] has the potential to become one of the great brands on the Internet and beyond, and by beyond we mean in wireless, in the search for anything on any device."
The release notes that AskJeeves is "the 9th largest global web property (ComScore Media Metrix.)"
IAC already owns Home Shopping Network, Expedia, CitySearch and Match.com.
