Bush Cronie Karen Hughes Headed to Top Propaganda Slot

Proving that Bush is stacking every deck with his cronies, O'Dwyer PR (subscription required) reports that Karen Hughes, one of President Bush's most trusted advisors, is slated to be nominated to "the nation's top progaganda post."

There could hardly be a worse choice, since Hughes has been the shepherd of White House PR machine's never-explain-never-apoligize polarizing and confrontational PR.

Some observers, O'Dwyer says,"expect Hughes will also serve as a strong counter to the influence that political strategist Karl Rove enjoys in the White House." Not bloody likely.
