Pale Male Gathering Twigs in Central Park for New Nest

Celebrity red tail hawks Pale Male and Lola are said to be re-building their nest atop their Fifth Avenue coop.

I saw him this morning in Central Park, where he flew about three feet above my head to land on a fence in a ball field on the Great lawn.

It remains to be seen whether the famous raptors will mate. Last time he got kicked out of his nest he didn't mate for a year.

That would be cool, wouldn't it. But they sent me a 1.3 megapixel camera. I haven't tried it yet, but I don't imagine it'll come close to my canon A85.
