Bloggers Compile List of Companies Hostile to Bloggers
Dana VanDen Heuvel's site reports that bloggers are compiling a list of blogger hostile companies. The 22 companies listed allegedly "fired, threatened, disciplined, fined or not hired people because of their blog."
Among well-known cases like Delta and Starbucks, are Microsoft, ESPN, Apple, and the National Basketball Association (NBA) along with several newspapers and Minnesota Public Radio.
Simultaneusly, Ellen Simonetti, the fired Delta Airlines blogger, has updated the international Bloggers' Bill of Rights, which threatens companies that do not comply that they will "risk being blacklisted by bloggers everywhere!
