Name The October Surprise Website Gets 3,000 Guesses

Without a doubt, one of the strangest political sites is nametheoctobersurprise.com a Website by former New York City Public Advocate and Mayoral candidate Mark Green and the radio network Air America. Some 3,000 people have posted their ideas of what the Bush administration will pull out of its hat right before the election.

The Daily News reports that most popular theory is that the Bushies will catch Osama Bin Laden, followed by the Saudis lowering oil prices, Sen. John Kerry being accused of some personal misconduct and Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge announcing a pre-election terrorist warning (Can you say "orange alert"?)

Or maybe the outcome- changing surprise was the disappearance of 380 tons of powerful conventional explosives in Iraq.

But what the heck is Mark Green selling? Is he running for office? What does he want?
