Queen Elizabeth Provides Brilliant PR for Skewbald Horses
According to The Scotsman, skewbald horses are "filled with the commonest of common blood." (Heavens!) Yet, the Queen has been pictured on a skewbald for her 78th birthday. "Her Majesty is experiencing life as her subjects live it. People who could never afford a smart bay thoroughbred now feel that their monarch empathizes with them. Itís brilliant PR not only for the Royals but for all coloured horses, who can sport their splashes and spots with renewed pride having received the ultimate seal of approval." Always good to have your priorities straight.
