You Can't Underestimate Stupidity

The $500 grand prize for the seventh annual Wacky Warning label Contest was awarded to Robert Brocone of Euclid, Ohio for a warning he found on a bottle of drain cleaner which says: "If you do not understand, or cannot read, all directions, cautions and warnings, do not use this product."

The contest is sponsored by M-Law, a company dedicated "to restoring common sense and personal responsibility to the courts."

The release is a good example of the way a company can get media attention with lists, contests and angles that go beyond "we exist" and affect a broad segment of the population.
