While the company claims its ice creams are gourmet quality, a NY Times panel of tasters declared that the best thing about the ice cream is its name. Star Spangled Ice Cream says it donates $1 to the educational work of the Gun Owners Foundation Gun Safety Project every time a quart of our politically incorrect flavor GUN NUT is purchased over the Internet. A four-pack sells for $76. ì[Star Spangled Ice Cream] misses the point.
