Kerry+Children.jpgHere’s the first sign of cheer since the election. John Kery has begun a brilliant campaign to have a few hundred thousand Americans co-sponsor his bill to immediately provide health care to the more than eight million children here who have no health insurance. What better way to demonstrate the will of the people?
“Imagine,” Kerry writes, “the power of a bill co-sponsored by hundreds of thousands of Americans being presented on the floor of the United States Senate. You can make it happen.”
Republicans want the (more than) half of the country that voted against them to disappear. But we’re not going away. Not for a minute. Not while John Kerry is still in Congress. He also vows that all the votes will be counted. Finally! He’s pissed off enough to take action.
